Hey Geeks, it’s Andrea. As our first Horror Month is coming to an end, we thought we would take one last glance for the season at creepy video game glitches. If you enjoyed these, maybe they’ll come back next year. I’m not really sure yet. Alright Geeks, let’s go.

  1. Sims 3 – Deformed Baby Glitches

Whenever expectant mothers dream about their future babies, even the sims imagine beautiful babies to take care of. Probably. Either way, this likely isn’t what they have in mind. This weird glitch has been known to be caused by a number of different things. Sometimes from custom clothes not working properly, cache’s that need cleaned, even specific viruses have been known to cause this issue.

  1. Dragon Age – Heads twisting off

As recorded by this YouTuber, here is an example of a couple of odd glitches from Dragon Age. While in the middle of a conversation Alistair’s head decides it needs to be the center of attention and twists off, enlarges, and flies to the front of the screen. The same user also shared a video of the same thing happening with Morrigan.

  1. Dead Space 2 – Half Body

Dead Space 2 has plenty of intended horrifying graphic body parts all over the place. So it makes sense for Isaac to have some pretty graphic deaths. The problem with this is that he isn’t dead. He is just a bloody, meaty, half set of legs with half of a torso walking around wearing a floating mask. As if it walking out from editing your rig wasn’t creepy enough, this user was able to play with him like this.

  1. Witcher – Distorted Face

If you haven’t noticed this month, face skins distorting in video games kind of gives me the creeps. Here is a glitch where Geralt’s face appears to partially melt and just get stuck that way. It doesn’t affect game play because everything still works properly, he just has a ghastly face worthy of nightmares.

  1. Fallout 3 – Talkative Mangled Dead Bodies

Here was a very easy glitch to replicate. All you had to do was kill an NPC, save the game, and reload the file. The engine got confused because the NPC could be important but it is also a pile of dead body parts, so what to do what to do. So the body parts could be a walking NPC or maybe one you need to speak with, so it sits there and has a conversation with you.

Alright Geeks, that’s going to do it for this video. Thanks so much for hanging out with us today. You only have a few more days to get the t shirt so be sure to look out for that below. We will be doing a t shirt every year, but this is the first year and there are only a few of us Geeks, so it’s an extra special one. Be sure to come back tomorrow for another creepy video in our Horror Month. Alright Geeks, see you tomorrow.
