5 Disturbing Masks in Movies – Horror Month 2016 – Day 25
by Andrea “The Grill” of Geeky Gaming

Ready to at some freaking creepy masks? Here are some disturbing movie masks! #Horror Month 2016

Don’t forget to get your T-Shirt before they’re gone forever!

Hey Geeks, it’s Andrea. You may not believe it, but we are on our last week in Horror Month. If you’re enjoying yourself, don’t worry. We will be doing it every single year. Speaking of something we are doing every year. I heard that you could get a t-shirt to show everyone you were here for the first. So you can look back and say, “We Geeks were few that Horror Month, but we were mighty.” Alright, I’ll stop being weird. There are a lot of disturbing masks in horror movies and even in some non-horror movies. Let’s go over a few today. So we can all miss out on sleep tonight. Alright Geeks, let’s go.

  1. Eyes without a face

One of the reasons I really wanted to include this one was because she reminds me of a creepypasta we covered earlier this month. The expressionless. Well, only when she is wearing the mask. I would have to assume that whoever wrote that got the inspiration from this movie. The idea is that this mask is used to cover up her disfigured face. Attempting to make her look normal. Unfortunately, it’s reminiscent of a mannequin coming to life. Which would be a nightmare that no one wants to see.

  1. Nightbreed

I don’t know if I should be ashamed to admit this or not, but I had never heard of Nightbreed. But when I was looking up pictures of all kinds of movie masks and came across this… I think I’m in love this mask. I mean, I don’t want it in my house or anything, but this mask is amazingly disturbing. This mask is worn by psychotherapist Dr. Phillip Decker while he commits murders. Not only does he disguise himself during these murders, but he convinces the lead in the movie that he was guilty of the murders and he needed to turn himself in. And that is just the beginning of the movie. I think I need to actually watch this movie.

  1. The Strangers

These masks are a terrifying addition to an already terrifying concept to a movie. This same plot has been done several times and each time it terrifies the crap out of me. This one included these terrifying masks which certainly doesn’t help matters. You have the two very feminine masks that remind me of why dolls are terrifying. And then you have this dopey looking sandbag man in the middle. For me these masks are probably the most unsettling on this list, even if there are some more overall creepy ones.

  1. Frank in Donnie Darko

So, uh, looking at this mask… Can we, you know, not? When I was a kid I went to watch this movie, but it was already pretty old at that point. I remember seeing some outfit or mask or something that made me turn it off. It was so long ago that I couldn’t remember what today, but looking at this I’d have to imagine this murder bunny was probably it. This disturbing mask and costume is worn by Frank Anderson at a Halloween party.

  1. Smiley

And you thought emoji’s were cute. The plot of smiley is kind of like bloody mary for a fictional chatroulette-like website. Whenever you type “I did it for the lulz” three times into the websites chat box, smiley will murder the person they are chatting with. I think the lesson to learn here is that making cute things fleshy is likely to have disturbing results.

Alright Geeks, that’s going to do it for this video. Thank you so much for hanging out with me today. This is definitely a list we will want to do in upcoming Horror Months, so let us know if there are any masks that you find absolutely terrifying.
