Hey Geeks, it’s Josh. I’m in for Andrea today so she can rest her voice. Today I wanted to talk about 7 Pokémon with disturbing Pokédex Entries. If you have your own favorite disturbing Pokédex entries, be sure to share them below. These are just 7 that we personally find creepy. So, I’d love to hear yours. Alright Geeks, let’s get into it.
There is a whole lot of creepy going on in this Pokédex entry. On one hand you have a completely immobile Pokémon who doesn’t even breathe and their wings don’t move, but they still somehow float on air. And on the other hand peering into the crack on its back will result in it stealing your spirit.
The idea of an evil plush doll isn’t exactly something I’m happy about while looking around Andrea’s very girly stuffed animal filled room. This doll has become a Pokémon after building up hatred for being junked. It seeks revenge on the child that left it behind. Also, being seen in dark alleys isn’t exactly comforting. Like they weren’t creepy enough.
While looking at the Yamask, it’s hard not to feel a bit of sadness for them. Especially once you hear their Pokédex entries. Each Yamask carries a mask that used to be their human face. Sometimes they look at it and cry. Poor things.
These anteater looking Pokémon put their enemies to sleep and then eat their dreams. It may sound tame as far as some of these entries go, but it is creepy to imagine one of these guys standing over my pillow trying to eat my dreams.
These youthful ghost like Pokémon are created whenever children get lost in the forests and die. Their spirits possess rotten tree stumps and turn into these surprisingly happy Pokémon that love to continue to live in these forests.
You shouldn’t get too close to this sword-like Pokémon. Whenever a person grabs the hilt, it sucks all of the life force out of that person after wrapping blue cloth around their arm and refusing to let them free. Maybe it’s better to look and not touch.
The Drifloon is one the darkest Pokédex entries I’ve ever read. The Pokémon itself is created from either the spirit of a person or another Pokémon. The Pokémon grabs the hands of children trying to steal them away. Some children grab onto the drifloon because of its similarities to a balloon. If they make this mistake, they could possibly vanish.
